Caregiver Resources:
The North/Eastside Senior Coalition is pleased to provide numerous services for caregivers. Use this page to learn more about our programs for caregivers, or contact Cortney for more information at 243-5252 or Cortney Hino.
You are a family caregiver if you:
- Help a loved one with medications
- Take a friend or family member to doctor visits
- Care for someone long distance
- Help with grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, etc.
- Provide care for a family member in your home or theirs
If you are a family member caring for an adult 60 years of age or older, you may be eligible for financial assistance (for respite, training on personal care techniques, supportive home care) and other supportive services, through the Caring for the Caregiver Program of Dane County. For information call the Area Agency on Aging (261-9930).
